Hints and tips
First of all, I'm not an employee or representative of EZ Airtime. I'm also just a client,
referring potential new clients to EZ Airtime.
It doesn't matter why you join, to sell airtime or just to use for yourself. I've joined
EZ Airtime so that I can sell airtime to my existing clients as an added service. Here are a
few concerns I had when I joined, that were not addressed in the documentation:
- How long a voucher number is valid. I wanted to print voucher numbers on paper so that
I can sell them as a printed voucher. I contacted EZ Airtime and they indicated that
voucher numbers are valid for 2 years after delivery. The oldest voucher that I've kept
and used myself was 194 days old.
- Airtime vouchers are delivered to your phone via SMS. As you know SMS's can sometimes
not go through. EZ Airtime is not to blame for this. Just keep in mind that every time you
dial the free numbers listed, EZ Airtime will send a voucher. Should you not receive a
voucher, you can look up the vouchers that has been send to you at EZ Airtime's web site
by using your cell number to log in and a password that you specified with the PASS
command, see documentation. Note that once you've used the PASS command, you can not
change your password yourself, you'll have to call the call center to do so. Also once
you've used the PASS command, the ring bring limit takes effect. I've disabled this limit
on my own account. See LIMIT command below. Also note that it could take a while before a
send voucher SMS appear on the website. You can also view airtime SMS's send to you in the
current month on your phone, provided it is compatible, by pointing your phone browser to
www.aalwyne.co.za/wap/report.php
- You will notice in the documentation, they mention that a client becomes inactive if
no deposit is made within 30 days. That only has relevance if you are a wholesaler. It has
no effect on you what so ever. The money you deposit into EZ Airtime's Account will not expire.
A few tips to get the maximum profits.
- The more you deposit at a time the higher the percentage that get added to your
account. Deposit R100 and you only get R6 (6%) extra. Deposit R300 and you get R21
extra. Deposit R1000 and you get R80 extra.
- Making cash deposits will save you on fees that your bank will charge you to do a transfer.
