Yesterday, as usual, I went to the monthly auction nearby and they had 2 beautiful horses there. It is very seldom that they do have horses at the auction.

The one was light bay and looked Arabish, about 13 to 14 hands. A young girl was riding him and he was calm and not at all bothered about the surrounding noise of the auction. The other one was a palomino mare, about 15 to 16 hands, with a cute little black foal. Don't think he can be much more than a month old. They were using the palomino to give "pony" rides to the children, so she also had a lovely temperament.

I forced myself to leave before they were sold, cause I surely would have bought one or both of them and I can't afford the upkeep of more horses of my own. They were also a bit on the thin side, so they would have needed fattening up a bit as well.

I know wht it's like seeing a horse and wishing you could have it but knowing you can't......
