Jack (welsh Sec A - 11hh and 7yrs gelding) loves to jump and loves outrides. We have taken him to a few shows and if he is ridden he is safe. Only problem is to lead him. He box real easy (Do have problems to catch when he feels like it ? like any naughty pony if you want to ride while his friends are still out grazing, but once caught he is easy). He has real good stable manners. I ride him on a snaffle but prefer that the kids ride him on a Pelham. We have done Prelim dressage with him. I have jumped him 50cm (but I am too heavy to try higher ? have free reined him over 70 ? not higher ? never needed him to jump higher so I do not know what he can do). We had a guy from Pta that looked at him (Malan was just to late) and according to him jack will always return to the running away problem if everything is not 100% and with a nervous child you will never know what will happen. We would like to sell him for R5000, but the home where he will be going to matters more. He is only 7yrs now and all his inoculations and teeth are up to date
